Party Conventions

Election of party leadership and nomination of major state office candidates takes place at conventions.

It is ultra-important that America First Precinct Delegates attend, participate in and vote at conventions…this is our opportunity to replace “do-nothing” incumbents with America First patriots!

The Convention Cycle below describes each convention, as well as when each takes place in a 2-year timeline.

County Conventions
Four county conventions take place in each 2-year term for the purpose of electing (A) party leadership for the County Executive Committee or (B) state delegates to attend state conventions.  Additional conventions may be organized by county parties for other purposes, but those listed in the Convention Cycle below are universal to all Michigan counties.

State Conventions
Three state conventions take place in each 2-year term for the purpose of (A) electing state or district party leadership, (B) endorsing major state office candidates or (C) nominating major state office candidates.
